Free 14-day returns · 1-year warranty on every device

About us

We want renewed to be the new normal.

Every year the world throws away more than 60 million tonnes of electronics. Most of those devices still work, or need a single part replaced. Reneweu exists to make giving them a second life easier — and safer — than buying new.

We launched in 2026 and are backed by a €10 million investment led by Invest-NL, the Dutch national promotional and investment bank.

How the marketplace works

We don't refurbish devices ourselves. We run the standard that the people who do are held to.

1. We vet the refurbisher

Every seller passes a documented audit: repair capability, spare-part sourcing, data-erasure certification and financial standing. Around one in four applicants is accepted.

2. We publish the standard

A 42-point functional test, battery health above 85%, genuine or equivalent parts, and honest cosmetic grading — Fair, Good or Excellent — with photos of real units.

3. We measure every order

Return rate, defect rate, dispatch time and review score are tracked per seller. Slip below the bar and listings are paused; stay below it and the seller is removed.

4. We stand behind it

Minimum 1-year warranty, 14-day free returns, and Reneweu-funded repair or replacement if a seller cannot resolve an issue.

What we stand for

Circular by default

Nothing we sell should end up in a drawer or a landfill. Free take-back, free recycling, spare parts published for our best sellers.

Honest grading

A scratch described is a scratch expected. We would rather lose a sale than surprise a customer.

Sellers as partners

Independent European refurbishers keep the margin, we keep the standard. No white-labelling, no hidden intermediaries.

European by design

EU consumer law, EU VAT handling, EU-based support in 15 languages, and data stored inside the EU.
